I remember the year they opened for Korn. Damn I'm old. I mean, Spike and Mike weren't there. After Staind, a screen came down and showed like half an hour of violent cartoons.

What the fuck is this? Animation Extravaganza? I thought they had the Sick And Twisted Festival of Animation and the Fantastic Animation Festival for the cartoons that are actually good.

There were a few others their. Honestly i thought some of the early animations were kinda too tame but the later it went on the better they got. They had some old shorts from the 90s and 2000s. Two made by craig mccraccken called no neck joe. One called hangnail where a guy gets skinned alive. My favorite of the shorts was brad neelsy george Washington short. I can go into more detail if anyone has any questions. Their was also one where a hot indian woman takes off her shirt and bares her tits and digs into her chest cavity which was awesome

Honestly I had no idea Spike & Mike was still a thing. I thought edgy cartoon festivals became obsolete after Newgrounds and Adult Swim.

Huh, ok. So a lot of stuff from their dvds. Seeing No Neck Joe in the cinema would certainly be an experience, but I don’t know if it’s worth paying full price for. Did they have any of the Evil Cat shorts? Were there any shorts, newer or older, you thought were genuinely great, and did they all go for shock value?

The shock value ones were better desu. I liked the one with the toy soldiers unboxing a flame thrower and burning alive a bunch of lanard the corps action figures. I also liked the one where a couple go to a resturant and an anthropomorphic birthday cake gets its heart ripped out mola ram style for the girls birthday. There was also interluded with fucking jaiden animations which i found cringe. Shes all tatted up IRL apparently and the "relatable humor" they tried with them did not land at all. I enjoyed it but it felt a tad short and some of the shorts couldve been better/edgier. Looking back my favorite ones were the topless indian babe, washington, and hang nail

Nothing more recent than 2023.

The first few shorts were fairly tame. They isolated the "Sick and Twisted" stuff at the end of the screening.

But honestly, the shorts weren't much different from what you'd see on "Animazing" and "Cartoon Capers" on Shorts.TV.

And all this time I thought Spike and Mike were the producers of the show, and Mike was Mike Judge.
