I was just thinking about an old RP I had where Raven gets blasted into an unfathomably deep trance by a Titans janitor pushing his fingers on her forehead and arching her back at a weird angle, leaving her arms draping behind her while her body arced and she slept deeply. She’s a good subject. There’s something about characters who meditate and have a good cosmic connection to the universe that makes them amazing subjects/hypnotists, kinda like an ancient shamaness who can overwhelm you with a dance while weaving patterns in the air to pull on the most primal parts of your mind or an Eastern mystic who can poke you between the eyes with a chakra-infused finger.
