No, you would say, “That’s a weird cope pairing you got there, dumb shipper. It’s never going to be canon, doofus.”
There was a period where Finn and PB or Marceline were intended potential endgame ships by its OG creator. And then afterwards, FP was introduced solely to be the love interest, and then that crashed and burned. Afterwards, the only things Finn was getting shipped with and romancing in-canon were princesses.
And then one day, all of the sudden, Finn gets spotted by a non-princess. An old side-character from some old random episodes about wizards, not even a brand new character or a princess, wants the Finn sword. And she does wield the Finn sword.
Aside from Marceline, HW was the only non-princess Finn had romantic ties with. But compared to Marceline, she was a stranger. And compared to FP, she wasn’t even brand new and grand, just a jobber Finn easily defeated that looks cool to get a PB Princess kiss.
And this weird-looking cat-eyed character lacking boobs, booty, and long-hair ends up with the Finn with full fandom approval. It is legitimately the weirdest canon to ever happen in all of Adventure Time.
