I don't remember Season 1 taking this long to get to the point. Two episodes in and we've barely gotten the hook.

I feel like 20 minutes could have been shaved off between the last two EPs.

I was just thinking about this, too. I thought it was weird everyone was pinning all the blame for CoTW's flop on CoTW itself and suddenly it's like XV did no wrong whatsoever even though it was blatantly the game that overpromised and underdelivered when SNK had more eyes on them for the first time in the long time and after churning out such a lackluster pack of course it'd kill interest for whatever they had planned next. Now there's no denying CoTW's fuckass advertising and celeb shilling as well as it's own flaws as a game added to it's failure, but it's like everyone forgot that XV was the one that started the fucking fire.
