When I first watched S1 I knew immediately people were gonna instinctively ship Adam with Lute and then it got really popular so popular in fact that I think Viv then pretty much destroyed all subtext and decided to have Lute's companionship with Adam to be beyond strictly professional. Now I usually hate how Viv writes romance plots...because Helleuva Boss has proven to me dozens of times over shes bad at it and she should stop or get someone else to do it but I REALLY want Viv to actively capitalize on this. Lute's a great character and I want her to be happy but this is Viv. No one but HER favorite characters are ever allowed to have anything they want.

Kind of confused by what you mean here because season 2 only doubled down and confirmed that it was romantic on Lute's side and is making a huge point of not revealing whether Adam knew or reciprocated yet (ie. it is NOT confirmed to be one-sided). Did you want them to be fucking during season 1? I wouldn't, not when Adam was bragging about hooking up with random women. It's better to set it up as a burgeoning love neither has acted on yet and give them a chance to properly confess later. I like the idea that being cucked twice has fucked Adam's notions of relationships so bad that he feels like he can't take it further with a girl he ACTUALLY likes because he's scared he'll fuck it up and lose her. His hookups don't make him happy.

If Adam was revived in this horrific way, there would be no easy out for Lucifer and the angels when they die, and he would be in the state where he can’t really express himself or reveal any secrets to them or the cast. But as a mangled monster that achieves the dreams of Lucifer, he would have to reside in Hell, chained, barely anything like his old self.

The rest of what you said makes him no longer even a character, and you're confusing a human soul like Adam with a heavenborn angel like Lucifer. They aren't the same thing. Sinner Adam is a mirror experience to Pentious' while providing his own conflict through being among the souls he's repeatedly attacked, which would also bring him in conflict with Lute as she's torn between what she believes is her duty and her affection for Adam. If Adam is just some Frankenstein thing, I think Lute would be sad and pissed but she's already sad and pissed. Killing FrankenAdam would be the obvious thing to do. If Adam is a sinner, what she should do is not as obvious, at least to her, because of the inner conflict she would have. There's not much inner conflict with FrankenAdam. There'd be very little of Adam left in him and reversing the desecration of his body likely already aligns with what Lute believes.

I am not entirely sure what you're proposing with the whole "sins of Lucifer" thing, but if Adam is resurrected to be a weapon, there won't actually be much going on with him as a character. He'd be a plot device at best. If he has enough free will to remain a character, he'd be a bad weapon. The best thing for him as a character is to simply not just be some other character's weapon. You can do all of what you said with him as a sinner, with the added benefit of staying on-theme. It's low-hanging fruit thematically and allows him to actively participate.

You’re very wrong.
Adam with his full mind is too capable for the story itself to slowly progress. And he would still be in that state of being too burnt out for Lute (Vivziepop admits this). He would remember some things but not others (why he doesn’t trust Abel).
It actually will help Adam a lot on his relationships if he isn’t so secretly stuck on his history or the conspiracy anymore.

Lute wanting to fully restore Adam would require her to do a deed similar to Lucifer, in which he performed an experiment on Eve to “improve” her and it ended up making her and her children horrible. It doesn’t really help with Adam being set up as the six-winged golden goose Lucifer wanted to make.

Possibly, but it makes a lot of assumptions about how this stuff operates in the show. We know all but one sinner hasn't come back from being slain by holy power, so we can assume there is a re-judgement that occurs. Whether that re-judgement works only one way remains to be seen, but to say it "makes no sense" for Sinner Adam to appear can be restated by saying that it would contradict something previously established, which it wouldn't. So far we've only seen sinners killed with holy power, and one of those sinners got re-sorted into Heaven. The only thing that contradicts a re-sorting of a winner into Hell is bringing in context that isn't actually in the show. Adam's death is much more of an unknown because it's likely the only time in human history a winner's soul was killed. The rules of how that works are totally unexplored. Maybe you'd be proven closer to correct if it's shown that smiting a winner who is still holy with a holy weapon does nothing, or they revive normally, but nothing like that has been shown. It's just been Adam, and any number of things could happen.

Charlie’s goal shouldn’t be focused on redeeming Adam (that would waste time on him that should be given to Angel and other sinner characters). There’s also the issue of Heaven needing stronger entities, and if Adam was developed into one, he would promise the security of Heaven that it currently lacks.

We see Lucifer (he has the bad apple on his head) and Charlie (possible child of Eve) turning into forms that resemble the Sinners a lot more, implying that Roo does empower them and alter their appearances significantly. So when Pentious was revived, he lost his connections to Roo.

I think when humans usually die, they sink to hell and have their Roo qualities fully exposed in some way, making them more monster-like. While Redeemed Pentious shows what they’re supposed to look like.

Okay my sister wanted me to watch S2 so she could chat with me about it (I've mentioned this before) but she talks about how she doesn't like episode 3 + 4 because 'Charlie has no character growth, she's still the same'. So I watched episode 3 + 4 and all I see is Charlie trying to make the hotel work and the only 'negative' is she throws her friends under the bus to do it... Which is kinda Vox's entire goal.

Maybe I missed something because I skip the cringe songs but they're usually just the chorus sung 9 times over 3 mins with two verses mixed in so it's not like I missed important plot.

The day of judgment had finally come for the people of Hell! Adam, with his army of exorcists, and his best soldier Lute, was ready to bring an end to the sinners. But there was one place he and Lute cared about more than any other: the Hazbin Hotel. Here, the princess of Hell and her friends were preparing to defend themselves, hoping to somehow stop their executioners and come out victorious.

Adam started playing his guitar, the sound filling the air with powerful energy. Everyone froze, waiting for the attack to come. But instead of striking them, it had a different target.

Lute stepped forward, standing right in front of Adam, ready for what was about to happen.
“Are you ready to beat the the shit out of this sinners Danger Tits?!”

Adam shouted as a beam of power shot out from his guitar, striking Lute directly. At first, everyone looked confused, unsure of what was happening. But that confusion quickly turned to terror as they saw the power begin to transform the last remaining exorcist.

I’m confused why people think Adam is bad when he only killed bad people and still cared about them without letting their (including Eve’s) toxicity run him over like a bus. Totally agree. Charlie is one of those characters who generally sucks in the real show and a lot of the heavy lifting for her character is done by the fan content. Lute is the most likeable character in the show for me because her goals are clear and (now) based in tragedy/revenge. She's way more sympathetic than the main cast.

Side topic, but the whole 7-year teasing thing is getting kind of old now. In season one it seemed like the exterminations had been going for eons but S2 just confirmed they also started 7 years ago. What the hell was Heaven's army doing the whole time if it only started 7 years ago? Just hanging around in case something happened? Adam and Lute's character backstories seem like they would benefit more from the exterminations having gone on longer than that.

It would make sense if the original purpose of Exorcists is hunting and punishing hellborn demons who trespass on Earth. We know hellborn do go to Earth and cause problems regularly. When the cherubs are captured by D.H.O.R.K.S in Helluva Boss they lie and say they're Exorcists which suggests they know what they are, but if Exterminations are supposed to be secret the cherubs must know them for some other reason.
If Exorcists already exist for another purpose it would be easy for Sera to assign a few to Adam for the Exterminations. They're bloodthirsty Heavenborn soldiers who are used to combat and have natural disdain for demons, and it means they don't have to raise an army of Winners. It also explains why Heaven has a ready-made army to hand while Heaven itself is peaceful.

Because Lilith rallied up the sinners enough to cause concern from Heaven only seven years ago. It's possible she's *been* doing this since she became the Queen of Hell (for however long) but they only started gaining numbers seven years ago.

I expect a reveal that war between heaven and hell has been ongoing for a long time, and it’s only the exterminations (where heaven slaughters scores of unarmed sinners rather than only fighting with those who are actively trying to fight / get in) that started 7 years ago. Obviously Lilith did something that scared heaven enough to get her removed from hell entirely and make Sera think it was a wise idea to go for prophylactic mass murder to discourage it from happening again.

Charlie falls apart as a character because her daddy issues were calmed by literally just talking to the guy. In season one, you at least got the feeling that a lot of her sense of neglect and overlook was something that originated from childhood. That's the whole fucking point of centering a character around daddy/mommy issues. They're hard issues to get over because it all happened during formative years.
Which is the other issue, Vivzie needs to learn to fathom that people have formative traumas beyond shit that happened regarding their fathers.

Yes and no. This is one of those situations where her writing just dwarfs every other character for some reason. Everyone has been viewing Lute through the lens of the fact that she loved Adam while ignoring that he was seemingly the only one she really had after Vaggie's betrayal.
She's objectively alone, there is no one close enough to her to talk her down or comfort her. Moreover, everyone seems to focus on Abel being wholesome compared to his dad, but the reality is that Abel has already proven to not just be willing to peace with Hell, but also genuinely incompetent in his approach. Sera asked him for advice as a military leader and his first response was an indecisive "maybe we should try peace but maybe we should also attack."
She got passed over for the job by a person who is not simply pacifistic but unfit for the role he's been given.
Basically, her whole life is collapsing before her eyes and the reality is that there's no one she connects to to help her, and she's been completely disregarded by those who could theoretically do SOMETHING for her.
