This series is pure cancer, Adventure Time itself already wasn’t something to marvel at, at best it was fine but I find it hard to enjoy it as that show is the same show which kickstarted that calarts beanmouth trend that’s killing animation and taught normies to not give a fuck about animation quality, it did far more harm than good and autistic retards will claim that it saved western animation.

I get what people are saying about the pacing feeling slow, but this episode juggled a lot of plot threads. The sweet spot fundraiser, Fionna and Cake's love lives, PB and friends saving Finn, HW dying of thirst, Prismo exposition, Destiny croak dream. It's the weakest episode because it's the most disjointed, but it should mean that things are well set up now.

I'm only two episodes in to the new season and I'm wondering if I should just quit. I put up with the first season despite basically being multiverse slop, but this new season is a rough watch.

I find myself actively disliking the characters. Like the idea of chilling with Fin and Jake sounds awesome. Now change that idea to hanging out with Fiona, Cake and her friends, and the idea honestly strikes me as unpleasant. To put it frankly, Fiona is a bit of a cunt. I get the strong sense that if I were in the same room as the male version of bubblegum princess and Marceline they would dislike me. I've met these people before and they were not good people.
This isn't anything about them being gay, everyone in this show just seems to be a shitty person taking the screen time of people I actually do like. Does it get better or can I just stop now?

I like that idea. They never really struck me as the traditional couple. I would be alright if they confirm the relationship as something like “we’re bonded for life but not stuck together”, where they don’t need to be tied together with complete stability but will always be for one another no matter what. It’d fit well with HW’s style (she can compromise with letting Finn in completely and being soft but she doesn’t have to be constrained to societal norms/titles considering she’s a forest dweller most of the time) and Finn I think wouldn’t mind that either so long as they both know exactly what they mean to each other. They would always find their way back to each other as they are each other’s true homes. Their FW version would take the traditional route of husband and wife but the Ooo version would have their own brand of exclusivity.
The writers could do that or marry them, either way works as long as they build to it correctly.

Honestly Hunter should've had more scars on their back and front of their body. Battle scars, work scars, burn scars, stuff that might be unsightly. The only unscarred part would be the face. Figured it out. In the beginning of the F&C Season 1 episode Destiny, we see a flashback of Ice Finn freezing his parents. It's not explicit that this was a flashback leading me to believe that part of the story was still in progress.

This was a reference to S7E22 Crossover: where Ice Finn is seen bringing back the ice block of his parents. With Lich as Jake walking behind him. When Finn uses the magical staff Prismo gave him on Dog Lich it destroyed the Lich in Farmworld (minus the Lich hand transported to all other dimensions) and knocked the crown off of Ice Finn. Prismo then retcons the series of events to destroy the crown beneath the warhead pinning dead Simon down.

It's just that Farmworld hadn't been revisted since this 2016 episode I had completely forgotten that this happened. We never see anything again from this world and it was never explicit that Finn is free from the crown's power since he was still blue when Crossover ended.
