If Pixar wanted to milk the fuck out of Toy Story why don’t they just make spinoffs instead? The biggest appeal Toy Story has towards kids is the fact that the idea of toys coming to life and having a secret world is a very fun concept for them, it convinces them to imagine their toys as alive, making a spinoff to expand the universe or a film with an all new cast of toys can still be appealing to them and make tons of cash, and if it’s shit it can just be ignored unlike these sequels that shit on Toy Story 3s perfect ending and commit character assassination and shit. This series is pure cancer, Adventure Time itself already wasn’t something to marvel at, at best it was fine but I find it hard to enjoy it as that show is the same show which kickstarted that calarts beanmouth trend that’s killing animation and taught normies to not give a fuck about animation quality, it did far more harm than good and autistic retards will claim that it saved western animation.
This Fiona and Cake series is even shittier, it’s just shitty millennial Reddit Bojack Horseman-tier writing made to be quirky and relatable, and the funniest part is that there’s no adventure in it, this shit ain’t even Adventure Time, it’s Drama Time, it’s just Euphoria but animated and geared towards Tumblr artists. What makes it even more pointless is the fact that it’s set in an alternate universe from what I’ve heard, like if that’s the case than why the fuck is this garbage Adventure Time in the first place? It’s just like when instead of Teen Titans they made the wacky cartoon Teen Titans Go and instead of Looney Tunes they made the action capeshit Loonatics Unleashed. If you don’t wanna make Adventure Time why the fuck are you making Adventure Time rather than making a series its own thing?
