Most of the stuff I mentioned? Ash doesn't have access to Magic or Trick Room which cause the aforementioned psychic subdimensions that can manipulate rules of a battle, but also has outright destroyed them. Things like Whirlwind can BFR supposed invincible monsters, Sleep Powder and Attract can help deal with pretty much anything Yugi has, etc. Z-moves and Dynamax also counter a lot of "fuck you shields".
