Mirror force would kill a monster with 2000000000000000000 attack, and it would kill a monster with 1 attack.

Attaching limits to it is why I call it "Arbitrary, if there were basis in the game of a monster having SO MUCH attack that it was immune to mirror force, on the basis of that attack value alone, I'd agree with you. But it doesn't work that way. I'm not against Pokemon having its own tricks

For instance, any Pokemon with a held item or ability that prevents stat drops should be completely immune to Slifer's second mouth effect. Any pokemon that has the ability to break barriers should be able to break through mirror force, any pokemon with future sight should be able to bypass magical hats. Those would be cool interactions.

Cooler than saying "nuh it doesn't work that way cause it doesn't" anyway.

I've been saying this from the start, it's a stomp that has very loose connections with each other.
Lore wise, YGO is an epic fighting demons and gods with friendship, while Pokemon is relatively down to earth show with super powered animals. Mechnically YGO is a fucking card game, and the monsters usually don't do much unless it's in the context of a duel, while Pokemon is more akin to sports and battles are more like contests of skill rather than genuine fights to the death.

All of Ash's feats are based on him being pretty strong. While most of Yugi's feats are based on magic.

No matter how you slice it, it doesn't add up. This like putting Pac-Man up against Doctor Mario, sure there's feats and loose connections, but at the end of the day, they barely any actual overlap.

I think it's likely that the'll downplay the game elements of both series. This limits hax, but Yugi can still do the basic things his cards say, like negating /reflecting attacks, reviving monsters, using field wide advantages like swords of revealing light etc. He can also set cards to use for later and activate them when he needs them. Ash has to constantly think on his feet. Not to mention in Red vs Kai they confirmed that Pokemon without a trainer fight like wild animals. Ash is going to get overwhelmed by a large scale conflict.
