I thought most DB fans accepted with glee that they were taking characters "at their best" disregarding context. (Like most Supes statements beyond 4D). But that is aside the point.

How come is it that every Yugi vs Ash post is filled with people utterly disinformed about Yugioh?

Some say that they should only use the manga, that "filler" should not be used, that Yugi needs to be in a shadow game to use any sort of power since his cards are just "cardboard", that Duel mosnters cannot defend people irl or that he cannot use magic and trap cards irl to hax people to death.

Those are all wrong and mostly a result of people not watching the uncensored Anime, Bonds Beyond Time, Season 3 when Marik can hax people with magic cards, Season 4's final duel where Yugi can ignore the rules and summon anything he wants vs Orichalchos God, him putting Kaiba into a coma with a mind crush in the manga, GX stablishing how the Duel mosnter world is real, Capsule Monsters being OFFICIAL CONTENT, Yugi using Shinning Dragon to kill Anubis who was a Duelist, Yugi vs Jaden/Yudai being in a timeless alternate world, etc, etc, etc.

Its just insane and makes me quite scared to see what theyll give Yugi on the episode, while it is almost guaranteed they will give Ash pkmn masters and maybe even a composite pokedex.
