I thought most DB fans accepted with glee that they were taking characters "at their best" disregarding context. (Like most Supes statements beyond 4D). But that is aside the point.

How come is it that every Yugi vs Ash post is filled with people utterly disinformed about Yugioh?

Some say that they should only use the manga, that "filler" should not be used, that Yugi needs to be in a shadow game to use any sort of power since his cards are just "cardboard", that Duel mosnters cannot defend people irl or that he cannot use magic and trap cards irl to hax people to death.

Those are all wrong and mostly a result of people not watching the uncensored Anime, Bonds Beyond Time, Season 3 when Marik can hax people with magic cards, Season 4's final duel where Yugi can ignore the rules and summon anything he wants vs Orichalchos God, him putting Kaiba into a coma with a mind crush in the manga, GX stablishing how the Duel mosnter world is real, Capsule Monsters being OFFICIAL CONTENT, Yugi using Shinning Dragon to kill Anubis who was a Duelist, Yugi vs Jaden/Yudai being in a timeless alternate world, etc, etc, etc.

Its just insane and makes me quite scared to see what theyll give Yugi on the episode, while it is almost guaranteed they will give Ash pkmn masters and maybe even a composite pokedex.

I'd say that the main issue there is that Superman and the Flash have different authors who will focus on different things when writing stories. Some will try to focus on their limitations, while others will try to make them look as cool/strong as possible. It's how you get the inconsistencies that comic book powerscaling is infamous for.
I'd also say that powerscaling generally assumes that characters will fight to the death in an actual fight, so people who engage in it usually try to ignore any pacifistic qualities a character might have.

Kratos has never been shown to ever have the spears grow past their normal size in his game, stated or shown. The attack where he throws a spear up and rains down spears were just regular-sized. Sure the mountain-sized spears look somewhat cool but it’s also the fact that they were using a fanfic Kratos so obviously it wouldn’t matter much if they give him shit he’s never done.
