Is this fair on both ends? Honestly, DB doesn't even need to use chain scaling to convince us that Yugi could beat Ash through strategy alone as in Yugi's fight against Diva where he wasn't playing around, and even when he was dueling Kaiba it was to prove a point, and not ending him early on.
