Hi, question for Mr. Foooooly. In the 2nd level of the gameboy game, there's a hole in the floor in the upper level by the last "star", indicating you could collect the "first" star last. Yet after collecting the "last" star, then jumping down the hole to collect the "first" star to end the level, the game spazzes out and returns to the level select screen. I mean what, are we to believe that you have to collect the unordered stars in a specific order? Boy I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder.

I think the only way story in a smut game works is if the smut is frontloaded and the story is hidden away from the player. That way if the player only cares about the smut, they don't have to slog through a story they're apathetic about. But if they do care about the story, they can pay attention to the background and explore side areas to learn more about the world. Like how Portal has a bit of a story that you can infer from the environment, but if you don't give a shit about any of that it's still a fun game about solving puzzles with a portal gun. As people play your game and enjoy it, they will naturally become more interested in your world. Then when they're actually somewhat invested, you start adding story beats. For smut games, specifically.

I think Lajest is a good animator, but I don't know how you make a good 3D smut game that isn't just a glorified animation player.

NTA, but just finished what content is there so far, and it's okay. The moment-to-moment gameplay is pretty basic.
The game loop currently consists of:
>Timer.
>Tune dials till high sync %.
>Timer.
>Watch a slow-pan "cutscene" of a 3D render or illustration comm.
>Repeat.

Each signal has a little bit of narrative about whichever character you are observing, and occasionally they will trace you back and appear on your planet, and there is the real meat of the game where they roam around the city and destroy shit in 3D.
The playable elements are a bit boring, and the visuals are mostly placeholders, but it's fine for a prototype honestly. The sound design is the best part currently, makes sense since the dev is normally their audio editor.
I can see it being a pretty decent game if they add a little more juice/agency to the gts interactions.

The alpha is a buggy wreck that likes to have sequences break a lot, especially if you make use of the save/load feature which you probably will because you have no way to revisit signals otherwise (and also doing enough of the foxgirl's signals will just instant game over you with no warning and give you a splash screen to wait for more.)

I know these will probably get fixed but I'm a little surprised to see stuff like this if they had people playtesting ahead of time.

Frankly I just wish they'd go back to focusing on animations because the gameplay adds nothing to this

The arena mode isn't that great either, the giant will just beeline straight for you all the time in my experience but she's also really easy to dodge by just sprinting backwards.

I can see why it was delayed for so long. I would have done the same thing if I publicly went around proclaiming to be making the "greatest size game ever made" and my proof of concept was dial turning and standing in front of the microwave waiting for it to finish.
There's a lot of bugs which is to be expected with anything today but these ones pretty much kill any playthrough. Which then means you have to sit through the long introduction all over again because these dumbasses can't figure out a skip. Like every time you need to reload the tower either through loading a save or coming back from the arena, all the items are missing and the game restarts the tutorial but now you are missing all the drives you need in order to progress past it.
The main giant chick has a goofy ass, toothless smile and just cycles through the same animations. At first I was impressed but thanks to the bugs I had to watch repeat the same shit dozens of times which quickly got annoying. Your dialing frequencies and waiting an annoying amount of time just for a chance to get a shitty pan zoom jpg. Then once you have enough of those a giantess may show up, walk around randomly then leave.
The arena sucks too. Just play Lethal Fantasy. It's the same shit but does it a lot better and the dev at least knows how to update regularly. Here the giantess just walks around at random and grows until she outgrows the arena and becomes stuck in an animation loop.
Had Lajest not spent so much of his time shitting on other size artists, devs, and games while stroking his own ego and promising how this pre-alpha alone was going to blow to competition out of the park, I would say this game has promise to be alright. But knowing who is working on this I give it 4 months until it's abandoned.

Funny how the devs bragged there was 3hrs of gameplay in this and by "gameplay" they meant you have to wait around until your signals finish before you can turn some knobs then wait even longer just to find out the signal isn't even usable. They hyped up this pre-alpha as if it was going to run laps around the size games we have now just for it to wind up being mid in terms of size game previews.
All Lajest had to do was announce the game WITH a pre-alpha build attached and they could have avoided all this criticism. Even his cult are struggling to find good things to say besides "it has potential."

Are you suggesting the map should be procedurally generated in real-time? My concept was different: the map is finite, but it's procedurally generated fully once at the start of each new game.
An infinite map would introduce significant challenges for rendering the giga giantess, unless the game simply de-spawned her when she was beyond a certain distance from the player. Though I've got some ideas of how to go around that problem.
