Assuming you are on hand to use it, but my next step is buying a removed commercial kitchen extinguishing system or two to upgrade muh container motorcycle garage which has few burny bits as is.

I already scored four full high pressure CO2 extinguishers because babby extinguishers are more for escape than suppression. One will inert a whole High Cube easily so those I placed inside my shops personnel doors and just outside my home's back doorway are reasonable upgrades.

I can show up on any framing job site with that belt slung over my shoulder and probably get hired on the spot. Just like this guy >>2922541 could probably do the same for any finishing crew. That's why it's worth so much to me. Anyway that belt is worth more like $1000 anyway so it's probably the most expensive 'tool' I own.

How much better is a modern hammer than an old as dirt (still made in Germany, lol) Bosch green hammer?
I’ve got the feeling this thing is totally powerless, I’m making faster progress by hand.
I’ve got like 5 hours to drive to my next Baumarkt to buy something more modern.
I a modern low-price Bosch green/blue , Metabo, makita or einhell (lol, again) worth getting, or is this a waste of time and I’d have to order a proper demolition hammer? (I need to remove about 10 sqm of 2 cm of material, so compared with a contractor doing it, I’ve got some €€ tool budget, but I’d rather not buy some huge ass Hilti I’ll never really need again, but spending 200€ on an Einhell that’ll be useless also sucks)

Is this hammer-time (electronic) thread?
What kind of hammer (drill) do you recommend for advanced /diy/ purposes?
I’d need it mostly for demolition jobs, like removing tiling and such, for drilling holes in stone or concrete, I already got the Milwaukee M12 SDS one (came with a set, it’s surprisingly decent, but it sucks that I can’t to hammer time without drilling, also I suppose it’s gonna be a bit underpowered for removing material beyond the occasional hand full of 10 mm holes), so guess for a bigger unit, corded makes sense.

The corded bosch bulldog is basically the construction industry standard for light duty use. You can get a chisel bit for it for removing tile and that kind of thing. It's obviously not big enough to bust up a concrete slab but I've used mine to demo a brick chimney before.

I also have a cordless Metabo HPT rotohammer which works pretty nicely when I just want to drill 3/16 holes at work.

I have one pair of limited edition Klein pliers that I only got because I needed them anyway and they were actually cheaper than the normal version. Replacing them wouldn't be the end of the world, actually the normal ones would be better since it'd be easier to spot and grab them in my bag. (The normal ones have yellow handles, the special edition has red and look almost identical to the diagonal cutters I also have in there.)

They really haven't, at least not for some applications. Leather has this combo of strength and ability to gradually conform to things that makes it really hard to beat for things like boots, where you can start with them a little undersized and as they break in they stretch and become a perfect fit that you could only get otherwise with custom-made shoes. It's also resistant to sparks, heat, etc. which can be big problems with synthetic materials if you're doing welding, grinding, or anything like that.

I had horrible reactions to all three shots, violently sick for days, insane pain around the injection sites, etc. I have only had the actual virus twice, most recently in 2022, and while it lasted a little longer it was nowhere near as bad as the vax reaction, which was like four straight days of nonstop hell, while the real thing was one pretty bad day and then a week of just feeling exhausted and out of it.

This whole class of drills are not very good at drilling through concrete… they’re about the minimum. If you do it a lot, get a hilti, it’s like night and day. It’s shocking, actually.
The main difference is the hilti puts most of it’s energy into hammering and spins at, like, 10 RPM.
The bosch (and other drill-class hammer drills) is they spin way too much and burn out the bit. It also heats the bit to ridiculous levels which helps wear it out, too.
At least it’s SDS, those bits have more carbide on them, so they last a bit longer, but still, those style hammer drills are comparatively terrible.

They just renamed influenza viruses to 'corona virus', so of course people are always 'catching corona'. This is 'technically' not a lie even as all influenza viruses are also all corona viruses as a matter of physical-definitional identity. The lie is by implication of course since there is never such a thing as 'a' or 'the' influenza virus (and likewise any viron with coronal proteins), which are a constantly mutating and evolving soup of novel strains, and thus is more properly understood as evolutionary niche that such forms of 'life' converge on; an attractor in formspace, representing a mean that tends to be reverted too whenever there are unusual divergences in phenotype (like elevated morbidity, which reduces the effectiveness of spreading itself).

Like many other things in other words, it's preying on the fears ignorance and lack of perspective of the 'average voter' to push policy.

The thing that was released from the wuhan laboratory is very different from the things that are all called 'corona virus' today. For that matter it was very different from the things that spread around internationally in 2020, too. That's the basic rhetorical malpractice going on; using the same words for different things, equivocating (deliberately) the connotations of one thing with other unlike things that don't have the same properties and thus don't rate the same connotations. Once 'out in the wild' the original virus of note produced with gain-of-function research for weaponized morbidity very rapidly mutated to lose morbidity because it didn't fit the ecological niche - the same as every other rhinovirus from the dawn of terrestrial life to today.

I do know that people were encouraged to *not* wear masks because it was interfering with video security and auto identification since I’m in that business.

I’m also pretty sure the government didn’t exactly try very hard to stop it because old people are a burden to the government and generally on the receiving end of the system in their later years.
Generally we want young, healthy, and fertile taxpayers as citizens.
It was like a dream come true that it mostly culls older people.

thanks for agreeing with me by the way

Reality doesn't depend on 'confidence', sorry you outsourced your brain to the state church though. You can't provide any good logic and evidence for patently ridiculous pseudoscience like the bat soup theory.

And you know your own ruling class agrees with me, too. I know this because I actually read the papers that their thinktanks publish to each other (eg, https://archive.ph/zEy6G https://archive.is/sUhKn) while you only hear from the tv anchor and from other people who hear from the tv anchor; the sphincter on the bottom end of a system your mouth is fused too which excretes whatever crap is left after it has been digested through every level above, to use an analogy.

That's how it always goes; the Message gets pushed in popular outlets, while the truth or something like it is slowly laundered through publications noone except other bugocrats will bother to read months or years after the fact, all while the messaging that was in the prole facing rags is never bothered to change anyways, and usually simply just quietly dropped and forgotten about. Out of sight, out of mind.

>>2927225
Many such cases. You could fall off a ladder and if the cargo cult coinflip test flipped positive you'd be marked down as 'died from covid'. The sheer breadth and depth of malfeasance from every angle on every level in every way to whip up hysteria can scarcely be appreciated. The fact that total death rates year over year barely even blipped is of course just one of the most notable smoking guns. When people weren't just outright lying, or outright damn lying, they were getting 'creative' with statistic, and just redefining everything as 'of coof'. If the coof itself wouldn't get the job done by killing people, you could help it along by jabbing or ventilating them instead.

It always fascinates me that they’d think it’s important enough to comment on without thinking about what my potential reaction might be…although the “haloween” commenter must have literally ran out of home depot, since I didn’t see him and couldn’t find anyone when i went looking. there's no valid data whatsoever that suggests the vaxx makes the course of the disease less severe, other than trust us bro from the pharma companies and blatantly manipulated government data, that e.g. counted everyone vaxxed less than 2 weeks prior as unvaccinated. if anything, it shuts down the immune system, due to a shift toward IgG4 antibodies, masking the symptoms, while the virus wreaks havock all over the body. basically every single country that introduced the vaxx, experienced an immediate death rate spike. funny that you mentions ventilators, whose improper use was probably the leading cause of "covid deaths", toghether with witholding antibiotics for pneumonia when there was a positive result of an unreliable covid test

ITT there's e.g. the specific patent where the genetic material inserted into the virus comes from and, in case you somehow question publicly available data, literally a step by step guide that would allow even the biggest retard to verify the lab origin of the virus by himself in the public scientific database and you're too stupid for even that, or just shutting the fuck up. first you derail the thread with your triggered vaxxie nonsense and now you've gotten so pathetic that you can't even attempt to defend you position and can only continue spewing some preprogrammed NPC phrases, as empty as your brain

I watched the congressional hearings.
It’s clear they found one or two pieces of funding from the thousands, and somehow claimed these pieces of minutia were part of fauci’s master “plan” to give the chinese “gain of function”… that was a knee slapper. He obviously didn’t know those were things, he was the head of the department and wouldn’t be micromanaging that stuff.

If you ever manage anything, like at a company (unlikely) but you’ll realize how hilarious ru paul’s premise was. He’s obviously never had a job like that either.

Holding it was ok-ish. The grip surfaces are only about 50 degrees, that’s quite decent with gloves, but when I place it to the side and grabbed it on the motor, that was unpleasantly noticeable. So I grabbed my thermal camera.
