How feasible is it to buy land somewhere and live on a tiny house on wheels so you are legally camping.

It would need a septic tank hook up if it is installed with a toilet, or gray water storage if it's a mobile home. My dream house would cost me 71,000 dollars, So I would say it's feasible.

Also there's things to deck out a tiny home with, like solar panels, and rainwater collection.

Where does wastewater and poop go in an RV? You're just building an RV. You'd probably register it as such. You can build a nicer mini-house than any RV but you should know how RVs are built to get the general idea.

But OP asked about buying land and putting a trailer on it. So, not poor. The money invested in that land can go towards more economical living quarters.
But we get it. Many homeless, RV dwellers and trailer residents are highly antisocial. So congregate living (apartments, roommates,etc.) are out of the question. Gun/knife fights ensue and then the state provides a residence.
