Thoughts on using a marquee for a temporary workshop? better options?
I would have to make some duckboards for a dry floor.

How temporary? 20ft shipping container is the fastest "long lasting" workshop setup unironically

GP medium or GP Large tent. We used to use pallets for flooring. Just fill the gaps in with additional boards. You can put them side by side as long as rain and snow are not an issue. The sides roll up, they make liners to insulate them a bit more, and you can have stoves in them to keep them warm (there are chimney holes).

as long as take down is part of it.

high winds, snow, and heavy rain all take their toll pretty quick and can rip the top in a moment
storing it wet sucks
linkages bend

overall pretty shitty, but theres not really a better option

I used one for one summer in my front yard. Be ready to repair the roof or have some spares. You'll do.somehow rip it once or twice and the occasional unexpected wind gusts can do damage.
Always over anchor it, always.

Like this anon said, as long as you take it down. There was someone a couple miles from my house who set one up to do mechanic work in his driveway and just fucking kept it there, at a decent house too. Looks trashy as fuck when driving by.

Picrel is what we used for rain ingress prevention

Those with the space (which isn't much more except on tiny lots) should really go for a 40' High Cube, "one trip" grade since the beat to shit "storage grade"boxes are more work than they look to fix as they were condemned for maritime service.
