If you need more than 5 lumens to do any type of work. You're the kind of guy who blames the tool rather than the user.

This image makes the hobbyist seethe.

>uses ryobi tools
>tries to call someone else a hobbyist
ryobi is the most hobbyist-tier faggotry there is

I just strap a cheap chinese headlamp to my head. I like the kind that take the 2x 18650s.

I bug whatever works. You don't need a Milwaukee light.
You are the hobbyist who would spend 200 dollars on a plastic led cause it's red

I got a DeWalt drill that has like a 30 min led light on it I use sometimes. But bro. I can throw that Ryobi against a wall and it will still work, I won't feel bad, and if it does break I can buy 3 for the price of 1 Milwaukee or 1.5 DeWalt.

>5 lumens
Are you retarded? A 25 watt incandescent bulb (which is quite dim) puts out 250 lumens. Even these little tiny automotive accent bulbs put out around 40 lumens. 5 lumens is virtually nothing.

I use LED headlamps for task lighting even in decently lit rooms because holding a light is a waste of a hand. I buy multiple lamps to swap out on the charger. They're insanely nice for working in vehicle engine bays.

I also have three Streamlights and a nice rechargeable JNC.

4chan is of course retarded. I have Milwaukee, Dewalt and Makita because I buy for the specific tool no the brand. Tool elitism is mostly for non-professional mental children and autspergies.

OP is obviously a moron.

for me, it's the Milwaukee™ M18 ROCKET® Dual Power Tower Light.

>le it's overkill!!
not my problem, poorfag.

I got 2 other bigger lights, but that one was the only thing needed with a two day power outage. Though I was mostly in the dark watching anime on my laptop.

Are you using battery adapters or are you dealing with three types of battery systems?

same, I buy based on the tool itself, not the logo.
bosch and milwaukee make a couple excellent compact cordless tools, and for stuff where I just need something cheap that won't get used much I get the cheapest ryobi that will do the job.

They're literally all the same, just different colors. Maybe one day you'll stop taking loans to buy snap on tools and get a real job

I use multiple battery systems with OEM batteries and choose not to care because trivialities only trigger schizos. Batteries last long enough to be painless. I still have a 2011 Milwaukee battery that holds 3/4 charge and still use every battery I bought since then without issue. (I mark the year of purchase on batteries to keep track of longevity.)

Overthinking batteries is pointless distraction. I have work to do and my cordless tools pay for themselves in the first few uses.

OP is trolling of course since effective task and area lighting means less time spent moving a trash light. I use multiple LED headlamps and leave them around my shops and vehicles since every tool should ideally reside at point of use.

Current labor rates make DIY an increasingly effective financial effectiveness multiplier and decent tools last decades so cost per year ain't shit.
