Playing farming simulator with the new holldand L555 and though that It could be retro fitted with mechanical self levelling. So I'm wondering why you don't see any vertical lift mechanical self levelling skid steer loaders?

Honestly those old New Hollands are pretty good as is for staying level through the lift range. So it would be a lot of extra linkages and wear points to accomplish very little good. Would work fine in a computer simulation, but in real life it just wouldn't be worth it...

Forgot to factor in the tilt ram joints for original joint count.

Anyway it's only about the same amount of extra joints as any other self levelling loader.
The joint count become ridiculous only because of adding it on top of vertical lift.

The other method of self leveling vertical lift is of course a mast which I don't know where that would go on a skid steer.

this entire question is fucking retarded. you arent considering the ideal use design of a skid steer/ctl. they excell at material moving and spreading working from a pile. they are sub optimal for everything else. if you every loaded trucks with one youd understand why a wheel loader exists. even skip loaders where better at loading trucks but you cant move one semi legally on a trailer behind an f350
plus whats the fascination with mechanical action? hydraulics self leveling has been a thing for 30 years and now its even better with integrated angle sensors. and it saves having all that iron hanging out in front of the center of gravity making the machine nose dive and reducing the lift capacity
same with ride control. its sure nice to be able to zip across a bumpy yard in 3rd gear with a full loader bucket and not have your teeth beat out of your head
everything you are trying to reinvent already existed 75 years ago on og traxavator 955 loaders but it was dinosaur technology that has rightfully gone the way of the dodo
so keep playing vidja and maybe one day you get to run a real machine

Point to the massive amounts of iron hanging in front of the pivot point, images posted are just drafts, the final product would be relatively compact.

Ran a kanga for spreading wood chip mulch, the self levelling was great for not having to think and lowing cycle time when dumping to the ground with the limited hydraulic capacity.

Point is: I want self leveling and vertical lift on a skid loader and I don't want to deal with a malfunctioning valve body and electronics and would rather replace pins and bushings then finding out why a rheostat isn't talking to the valve body controller.

I've taken every hydraulic self leveling bullshit deal off of every loader I've ever owned. More hoses to leak. Stupid linkages. Get gud with the levers and learn to Oper8.

Hard part is the geometry, once that's sorted the rest is simple.

because you want the highest load capacity, and designing a self-leveling geometry leads to lower capacities and it's also a retard filter.

Well yes machines like the Kanga benefit from the mechanical self levelling as a larger hydraulic system is physically impossible to fit.
