Man Craftsman is just a solid company

>Send them a pic of a broken wrench
>"Mkay, we're just gonna mail you a bunch of them"

No actually they don't even make the thing I broke anymore, and I did kinda fuck it up myself

I have never even seen a broken wrench in my life.
A decent wrench just shears the fastener right off, but it doesn't break lmao.
Whatever trash they send you, the only use it might have is for you to tie it around your neck to drown your sorrows.

How many did they send you?

ive broken a few quality (proto wright snappy) wrenches but every time i was doing something way beyond vanilla knucklebusting. like pulling on the end using a 3 ton chain cumalong or crane or pushing down with the excavator bucket. cant think of an actual broken open end just splayed out. box ends are usually what gives up. splits through the side of the ring at the trough of one of the points

One time I bought a rubber headed mallet on Amazon and they sent me a pallet of them.

>our tools are such complete shit, we can afford to send you free ones when they break

this is the message i get from this lifetime warranty bs

Never seen anyone offering free replacements on anything just stamped 'China' or 'Taiwan'

Snap-Off: If it breaks the van will be around in a few weeks and if I got laid last night I might consider that covered under warranty

Harbor Freight: I see the marks where you presumably put a 4 ton floor jack under it and popped it like a toothpick, here's your replacement and have a sticker while we're here

They'll be happy to have it back as a display model.

Craftsman was the meme 15 years ago. I bought the 300 piece mechanic tool set. Then Sears sold Craftsman to Lowe's, which upset me for multiple reasons. The old Craftsman TV commercials with Bob Vila were so comfy.

I warrantied a bunch of broken made in USA stuff when China stanley blad and decker craftsman dropped

Meh

It’s probably lower tier than Pittsburgh nowadays

With tariffs I’m not sure if craftsman tools will continue to exist

just went to their website the other day to get a ratcheting screw driver replaced. it says you can chat, but there is no button to click on to chat. so I sent a request and have not heard back from them.

How can they charge so much for their tools and not win a single comparison video on farmproject? What does the premium price actually gets you?

It's just that showing up with a tool that's 80% as good that costs 1/5 the price makes them feel like total retards for being in debt over a socket set and some ratcheting flex head wrenches. So they lash out like whiney bitches
