Have fun with all your sticky tool smelling like soggy unwashed pubic areas.

Whenever I am cleaning up and restoring old tools that I purchased from auctions I wire brush them soak any moving parts that I can't/don't want to disassemble in gasoline and then work it back and forth and blow out the gunk it flushes out with compressed air, and then give them a coat of marvel mystery oil out of a little metal squeeze can. Shit smells amazing.

A nigger wrench isn’t a tool Twerp
I use my tools so they don’t get a chance to rust

A good adjustable wrench is most definitely a tool. And a nicely maintained one with a smooth action is a pleasure to use.

the jew? duh.
WD40 is unironically petroleum. With perfume. Just buy petroleum for legitimate uses you have for it.
That being said: Peteoleum and thus WD40 simply evaporates but before it does that it takes all oil off most surfaces. So you're literally off worse than before. Great.

If you use a nigger wrench
Turn in your man card. No real mechanic even owns one.

So can I. Still no need to carry an entire wrench set on a tractor for field repairs or adjustments. Crescents very much have their place, and if you don't know or respect that, then you obviously don't do enough work for your opinion to matter.

Yeah I own and operate and live on a farm as well. And yeah I have a service truck too. It's got full sets of wrenches and sockets for when you really have to tear deep into something in the field. I still carry adjustable wrenches and a few basic tools in my tractors and swathers for quick fixes and adjustments. Do you just stop what you're doing and call your daddy to bring the service truck whenever something mildly inconvenient happens? Seems like a shitty way to actually get things done.

Also what size wrench do you use to twist steel back into shape, or pull steel into place when fabricating? You put your 1/2" wrench on 1/2" thick steel and pull on that? Adjustable wrenches have a ton of uses other than the rounding off of small diameter fasteners that you seem to be so hung up on. They are great for all kinds of bending and twisting activities. The only one larping here is you saying that adjustable wrenches have no practical uses.

Bullshit. Anybody who's actually done mechanic work will know that sometimes they're the only option, like when dealing with aluminum tie rods that have gotten so beat up that an open end wrench doesn't fit properly on the flats anymore.

Smells like goat testicles
I now use wool wax to undercoat the truck 2x per year in the upper midwest, pretty cheap and so far keeping much of the rust at bay
Also has a comfy smell if I'm being honest

WD40 is basically a degreaser. Good for removing debris, then you are supposed to use a lubricant after. Fluid film leaves a protective film.

I almost mentioned this one as well. Plenty of that sort of stuff as a mechanic too, stuff gets bent out of shape.
Also they can be good for things like wingnuts or those plastic nut things that are supposed to be hand-tightened but can get stuck with gunk/grit, and don't tear them up the way pliers do.

For real though, and this goes out to the whole thread, is there any reason why using baby oil in my general/all purpose oil can would be bad? Like it's a light mineral-oil with a tiny bit of perfume? -Super cheap and seems to work great for cleaning/lubricating/everything
