hi there, i want build a cheap shower with a shower cabin, the idea is to use whats in pic related. (this is just my idea, im open for others) first time im doing something like this so yeah. havent put all together, will draw some plans today, thinking of doing a U shape cabin (when looked from above) and kust using a curtain instead of door, using the metal profiles as skeleton and planks as wall's, i could also use pvc planks but these ones are abit cheaper. i need to rise the shower tin so the siphon out is at 8cm above the floor because of the drain im gonna use. so maybe i rise the tin with briks or something.. guess briks + concrete is an option but to be honest i would try to avoid concrete. and sorry for my english! thanks!

Why not just buy a full shower kit that's got the pan & the walls?

i havent found decent kits here in spain, and the prices for kits are way more than just buying the shower tray and doing the walls..
i mean cheap shower tray : 50-90
planks and structure for wall: 80
faucet and other plumbing suff: not much

kits the cheapest ones are 600 for what i see.

You must be looking for the wrong thing or the wrong place, I'm also in Europe and kits start at like 100e for corner situated showers, complete kits with 4 walls at 300e.

True, it will be more in materials. However it should also take less work so figure that into the total value of each option. It will also surely be a better end finish than using what's in your picture.

since you'll use curtain anyways why not all the way?
One taut line goes from one wall to the wall opposite in the room. Saves you from somehow creating the attachement point for the corner. T off where the corner is going to be and go to the adjacent wall. You'll have a T shape taut line. Put curtain on 2 of the 3 sections of line. Use the remainibg to hang your towel.
