Not everything's a conspiracy, and not everyone is a shill. I have Milwaukee, Ryobi, Black & Decker, and Sun Joe(don't judge me, it was a gift from my dad who can't swing a hammer). And the Milwaukee and Ryobi are lifetime's ahead of the other two. Ryobi is great as a homeowner, and Milwaukee is even better. Having said that, looking at project farm videos, the average non-autist would never be able to tell a difference between the two. Sun Joe and Black & Decker clearly suck though.

Back to the topic, I fucking love this Hackzall. I've wanted a sawzall for awhile, but I just can't justify it because this has done everything I've ever needed it to do. And yes, I took a pic just for you >>2940987

hands down the best one on the market based entirely on shape and power. i've cut cast iron plenty of times. you can flip the blade around for better ergonomics in some rare situations
you can also put hacksaw blades in them, which i think is cool. cut them to whatever size

anyway i love my electric sun joe pressure washer and the pole chainsaw hasn't let me down. i use them rarely as fuck tho, so i consider it a banger deal

if it isn't a daily tool taking abuse, ryobi is great most of the time. black and decker is just ass though.

got this along with the hammerdrill/driver in a packout case with two big batteries on clearance a long ass time ago, I think I paid like $200 or something.

with a set of socket adapters I have no idea how I ever worked on cars without it, I love my impact bros. I also have its bigger brother the 1/2" impact wrench but hardly use it because this thing somehow breaks off almost anything I can find.

Not bad, but I can't use it in drawers since the Mexicans that slap them together sink the screws in the corner so I just hit the reverse button all the time. The m12 drill is solid, though I dislike using it with hole saws. Best tool is the first two weeks on a brand new tape measure

The DCF891B 1/2" impact wrench has been a pleasure every time I used it.

Stand up screw gun my beloved. Not having to get on your knees or bend over for screwing down subfloor is so fucking nice.

I've had an M18 high torque impact driver and an M12 impact driver fail on me in the last 12 months. Both were within warranty, but it took weeks for them to get my replacements back. Never buying that shit again.

I know those milwaukee are really good, but for 50 dollars for the tool with battery and charger the walmart compact is fantastic
It took 2 axle nuts off no problem along with ever other bolt i put in front of it and the m12 isn't too much smaller

Nice. A lot of the big old drills have 600-750ish rpm speed and that's just too damn fast. I'd prefer to have one with around 200-250rpm and with variable speed would be awesome for ~4" hole saws in steel, but haven't really found anything like that yet... A lot of the big old air vane drills off e-bay don't list the rpm of the drill, but that's probably where I'll eventually find one.

Ive only had it 6 months so no clue about long term durability, but the shartmart electric ratchet has been a trooper for me for a year now including using it to loosen some pretty tight bolts.
It does have a warranty, but even if i had to buy a new one every year I'd still be ahead.
The issue with the cheapies is usually shitty battery packs in my experience, and those are really cheap to replace.

My fear of painting the tools themselves is about this part though: I have on a couple occasions walked into Homo Depot during the day with a broken M18 tool (blew out an m18 impact driver and I think the other was a light or something) and shown the customer service desk and they just let me go grab a new tool-only box off the shelf. I don't think they checked my Pro account or anything, if it's mid day and your clothes are covered in drywall mud and bullshit and you seem hurried they basically let you do anything. I get that they're a big box but they're the closest store to me so being on first name basis with the shift managers is comfy.

It cuts well (5x4mm2 was easy), strips well (even stranded wire), grips well, crimps adequately and has long and narrow ends which lets you maneuver wires in the distribution box pretty well

And the best thing is that I don't have to switch tools, especially for the cutting-stripping-gripping combo

I got one several years ago at a yard sale with charger & 2 batteries for $20. Ex-gf selling off abandoned ex-bf tools. It's great, so handy for removing deck screws. Bought new M12 drill motor, it 100% my go-to. Also bought set of Shockwave bits for $19.95 on Project Farm test results. Several years later, still using same set, no broken or worn out ones. Bought Aliexpress "6.0AH" M12 battery for $20 shipped. Don't know if actually 6.0AH but it lasts longer than job every time I used it.

Most used hand tool in my tool wrap. More grip than needlenose, fits nearly as many places.

Wanted to have sex with this long t-handle chain wrench I made today after it pulled a valve from a frost free hydrant off 4' down in a hole where I couldn't reach by hand unless I dug out a bunch more dirt... Normally they come out with the old hydrant, but this one rotted off right above the valve.

Already had the t-handle in my pile of shit, and the piece of old roller chain laying around. Longest part of the process was just freeing up the roller chain so it swiveled nicely again before welding it onto the t-handle...

Makita and it's not even comparable. I don't give a shit milwaukee, dewalt or bosch drive screws .2 seconds faster of they have 7% more torque because its repairability is simply much, much better than the rest of the brands, specially if you want to do it yourself and want to repair older models. good luck finding spare parts for red tools that are 8 or 10 years old.

I'm hoping for something similar with these. If AvE is to be believed most basic electric hand tools are like $10 in materials and the rest is spent on marketing and kept as profit. Considering Ryobi will often clearance out bare tools for $20~30 I think that's believable. I'm hoping they stuffed more or less the same internals from the Dewalt factory over there into these but China's tool industry is so robust I'm sure this is either a custom designed in china BOM or they pulled all the cost out of it.
