>renovate bathroom
>install tile floor
>alldone.jpg
>measure existing toilet flange for new toilet
>11" from wall
>all new toilets require exactly 10" or 12" flange distance
>no 11" available

wtf don't they make 11" toilets??? now i have to tear up an entire brand new tile floor because they keep changing things to sell more toilets

Just get an older toilet that is 11 inches. The ReStore might have one. Or not flip out over a toilet having an inch gap from the wall.

Do you have room to use one of those offset flanges?
Cut out a bit of tile near the flange -- it'll be under the toilet anyhow so it doesn't need to fit nice around the waste pipe

Had this exact conversation with a friend who tried buying a 14"
>Your's is a 10" standard toilet
Buy the next number smaller than what you measured. This is normal. That roughout was eyeballed by a drunk Guatemalan, don't worry.

You're a complete imbecile and nothing that contains water should ever touch a wall. How do you clean behind the tank?

A tip from someone who's been doing residential remodeling for 20 years, always buy your fixtures first. That way you know exactly how everything needs to be situated and you don't have to redo anything.

install a 10" toilet it doesnt need to be directly against the wall you will just have a small gap back there that you will never notice

OP frame a picture behind it like you are supposed to. If you don't do it and post pics, you're gay.

It doesn't have to. It doesn't attach to the wall. Are you special needs or something?
