Any issue adding a ridge board here? Just to make erecting those rafters easier, ie one side at time rather than as assembled units. This board would be non structural and shouldn't be placing additional loads on the framing it's 'hanging' from, correct?

that is the proper way nigger just make sure you add collar ties and no need to wrap the rafter over the top of the ridge beam yes it is structural
