I'm tired, boss
>work as a contractor for a big name robotics company as a tech
>get like two days of actual training from a puerto Rican guy I can't understand
>any quality issues I have on a robot, I document so I don't do them again
>quality guys mark me for shit that isn't even in the quality docs
>told I would be shadowing QA to get a better understanding of potential issues, but it never happens
>ask my lead to review my work every time, they approve it, quality guy marks it up anyways.
>Tells me to read the guides
>they're either inaccessible, don't apply to my work, or haven't been updated by engineering in 3 years
>planners put stuff on the floor with tons of issues, then it isn't even what the job traveler says, I send 30 emails to fix it, and anything resulting from that is put on me
>get twelve bots done in a week while night guys get two done
>contract rep tells me I was let go due to too many quality issues in the past month. As a flat number snd not proportional to work done.(supervisor and manager protested to keep me)
>HR and upper mgmt just see you as a number on a grid.
>Apply for new job
>have interview for prototyping company
>they want me cnc and manual machining, assembling, TIG welding, wiring PLCs, potentially programming them.
>get offer for 19.50/hr
Why is everyone in manufacturing retarded?
