Will liquid-paper work to cover the last pin on this wi-fi card? I have to disable that for it to work in my ChinkPad.

I've used cellophane tape in the past for troubleshooting. Cover both sides with one piece wrapped around the edge. You could also lift the pin of the slot on the motherboard.

I think nail polish or CA glue are common material for this. Could you desolder or cut the trace on the laptop side maybe? It might be easier to solder back

use 1vyrain if you can't do a hardware "patch" to make the bios fuck off

Use kapton tape. Liquid paper will scrape off too easily.
