I get over $30/hr to sit at a desk and make sure servers stay running. This saves my body and energy to work on projects related to improving my house and property.

I'm a refrigeration and heating mechanic. I fix giant industrial systems and I simply bring my tools to my work area, I dont wear them other than maybe hanging an impact off my belt or a wrench/screwdriver in my pocket.

They carry 20-30 pounds of shifting weights on their lower back everyday so that when they finally get arthritis and back problems they can say "I worked hard", like a single mother. Even jarheads know to use backpack frames. The real reason is because their trades are like a low trust libertarian dreamland and they don't want Paco stealing their cats claws and their brand loyalist manicured hands would rather swing a stiletto.
