Not handyman fails at basic tasks
How do i attach this fucking thing to this fucking thing?

Sorry. Frustrated. I got an air compressor. I want to use it to check for leaks inside of a sealed vessel. I got a nylon tube that will fit inside of the air compressor thingy but it triggers the air by being fully seated down inside and the pressure keeps pushing it out from being fully seated.

How do you people who actually know what you're doing do this?

That's a lot of back talk and not much help. You go right to bed young man or lady. No pseudo-state roleplay and belligerent ignorance needed. Threads die every day.

You need a male fitting to connect to the female fitting. Birds and the bees ya know

Go find the male quick coupler that fits your female coupler on the compressor. see if they have one with a barb fitting that will fit your hose. if not, go to plumbing aisle and find barb adapter that fits inside your tubing on one side and is female thread to attach to your male quick coupler on the other. dont forget some hose clamps for the tubing; use two.

You also need one of these to go in the hose and attach with a cable clamp to thread one of the fittings in the middle of that other picture into. The stem on the fitting on the left isn't long enough to use in the hose, it will leak/slip

OP there is multiple designs of quick connect fittings and hoses, dewalt manual just calls them universal quick connect which is probably just >>2948631

that tube looks like it won't hold any pressure at all, just buy an air hose, one that comes with the fitting preattached since you are too retarded to figure any of this out yourself

You need a special metal part to connect the hose, other anons posted pics already. But you should use a air compressor hose, it's safer.

>check for leaks
air compressor is an insane amount of pressure by what could presumably be done with your lungs.
water dish soap and a paint brush, paint suspected area and blow in air. cracks that appear at higher pressures than 1 psi brings question of saftey because working at forces above 5 psi is concerning like peirce the skin concerning.
