i would like to know too. basically to replace concrete in making bird baths with a mold. can i make something that i can dye, is lighter weight, water/cold proof, and that will fill small details without a lot of tapping the mold

Depends what you want to pour in.

If you're making a concrete thing, cardboard and brown tape is enough, but epoxy will leak everywhere.
Also depends of the shape of what you want.
