in reality it is likely not possible as it looks like two pieces of fabric and there has to be a seam there
with as worn as it is you would be better off just replacing the fabric (just buy a new fucking bikini that you actually like)

It's a piece of elastic sewn to the back panel with a single straight stitch. It is in between two layers of fabric. Just pick out the thread carefully with a seam ripper. The elastic will stay inside unless you destitch the top piping and pull it out. You would then have to resew the top piping. I'd just leave it how it is, without the elastic there the bikini bottom will become too long and ride too high up on the waist. You probably won't be happy with it even if you successfully remove it.

With the shape of your arse, you'll realistically need a different cut of fabric to avoid the cinching.

If they were jeans, or something with more cloth, then you could modify them. But with a bikini? It'd be MUCH less work to buy a cheap sewing machine, some fabric you like, and make some new ones yourself.

It looks fine when actually worn. What exactly is the problem? This is how they handle fitting a round ass to a flat piece of fabric. If it was perfectly flat when folded, it wouldn't fit right when putting it on.

I use a seam ripper to remove cinching around the waist and/or chest of dresses all the time. The problem is that the threads that are cinching the clothing item could have made a big visible hole in the fabric that is only hidden because the fabric is cinched now. You are really better off just leaving it there and buy a different bikini, you don't want to mess around with wardrobe malfunction now that everyone have cameras.
