> code, 2026
It’s only 2025. How do they even know in advance?
It’s almost like they just make up some bullshit to sell books.

The NEC has a review board that anyone from electricians to architects can submit proposals to so that they can update the code every 3 years.
The most current edition is 2023, but the next one is coming soon

Coming soon: arc fault circuit interrupters on every circuit, no exceptions.

I had to buy those for one room I renovated. $37 each. Scam.

I’d be happy if they’d acknowledge the existence of LED lighting that takes 10 times less current than incandescents. I spent $1000 on wire to run these tiny in-ceiling recessed lights with a max 12 devices in the circuit according to code.

At least the UK calls it what it is: BS
