Removed satellite dish some shingle came off

Removed an old satellite dish on the house but some of the shingle came off with it, not the entire shingle but a layer. I smeared roofing tar sealant over top. Is that enough or should I replace the shingle?

It's always better to replace the damaged shingle. Those sealent sprays don't really last long.
