In april 1884, British engineer James Thomson coined the word "Torque" from latin "Torquis"
IMO one of the coolest words in the English language. I'm not using a dynamometric key, Im using a TORQUE wrench. I don't even think French Canadians would understand the word "dynamométrique" but surely they understand torque.
