I've been looking at some type of large rolling toolbox since I saw one of my co-workers showing off his Milwaukee pack out. Every brand, even the low level brands like ryobi, charge like $200 - $350 for this. A fucking plastic box with wheels. Are there cheaper alternatives that function the same?

Round these parts DeWalt t-stak and Stanley fatmax storage boxes are on sale alot of the time. I've found them pretty good for storage of all the usual tools. Would probably want something stronger on a construction site or carrying heavy duty equipment around but let's get real - the only DIY 99% of /DIY/ does is assembling furniture from IKEA

These all go on sale for black friday. I got the Kobalt version for 99$ and it's very well built.

Full price though the cheapest is the Hyper Tough from Walmart. It's on the smaller side. Then craftsman, Ryobi, Bauer and Hart sit just above that.

How many layers of cardboard to be able to carry a full load of heavy tools?

I bought the mangusson stakkur set (UK) cost me 100 quid (~120 bucks?) feels sturdy enough and probably fine for the infrequent diyer. I wouldn't rate it for daily site use but there was no way I was buying packout or anything

I of course want this one but it's the most expensive of all of them

I think I paid somewhere around $160 for the FS1101 model, it's cheaper than the Milwaukee

The one on the right looks more brittle than the one on the left, not by much though.

Seems good, mainly because of the treaded feet.

I like fat bottom girls. Warm, wet and squishy. Just wash it first, make it part of the foreplay.

I use the rigid boxes and they are awesome. I think it's maybe just under $200 for a set that has a big, medium and small box and then a thing with wheels you can attach and detach as needed. It's super high quality and I can stand on the boxes if needed.

I reinforce. My cardboard boxes with packing tape. I also use heavy duty produce boxes. They stack well.

It’s not cheaper but it is a different take on the idea: I got a MakTrak setup for my RC car racing equipment to replace the ubiquitous black 27-gallon totes. The MakTrak stuff kicks fucking ass because you can open any box in the stack even if it’s on the bottom.

these looks cool but in reality they can be more of a pain in the ass
>90% of the time you only need 10% of it
>to access the lower boxes you need to lift off the upper ones
>n the back of a van or truck where space is limited they take up waaaay more space than they offer inside
>...and once there, getting to that drill in the bottom box for a quick job is a chore
so no, i tried such setup once, will never do it again.

The Hart ones will let you remove entirely from the front like the higher end ones but aren't quite as large
Half the price tho

Yeah, I only use them for fasteners and materials
I keep my tools in accessible tool boxes
