Is there any non or minimally invasive way to repair a inguinal hernia at home? have one that's been gradually getting worse over time. I have no medical training but I've pulled my own teeth before, removed one of my tonsils, and stitched up a bad laceration on my arm before,

Not really repair uninvasively.
Can you push it back in with no/minimal pain? Fasion a belt /strap with a little rubber ball or knob to keep it in.
Can't push it back? Get to ER before blood supply to tissue is cut off. Followed by tissue death, gangrene and then your death.

I had one in that area when I was a kid. My one testicle was growing bigger than the other. Had surgery and was was after.

i have an abdominal hernia over my belly button that developed from deadlifting.
all my research shows any medical intervention would be overcome by further lifting and there's nothing to do but keep pushing it back in until i get to a point in my life where i'm not going to exert myself

yes start by making an incision over the hernia, and make sure you don't puncture it as shit will go everywhere.

now make sure you have your hernia mesh.

carefully push your guts in to your belly. don't worry about clean hands or anything that will just keep you alive slightly longer.

place the surgical mesh inside the opening, and sew it up (any ol' needle and thread will do).

now (in between the extreme agony you have been experiencing) sew up your abdomen.

now this is the important part so listen carefully...
