You don't just throw your cans of oil away when they're out of propellant, do you anon?

Surprisingly, I did not

You gotta open em up like that and make a little spout-crease thing. I tried just jabbing a hole with a screwdriver but it doesn't pour worth a shit

Hmm that's an idea for future cans

I just fill em back up with compressed air with a rubber tipped blow nozzle in the spray tip hole. Works like a charm.

A tire valve stem is perfect for doing this.

What do you do when the little plastic sprayer breaks off on a full can?

Hmm I'd probably put it in a container to capture everything and jab a hole in it

I hate those cans with the male stem for the spray tip for this very reason. If it is the female type you can usually take a small drill bit and extract the broken part of the spray tip and put a new/used tip back on... (Always keep your decent used spray tips off of cans)

If it is the aforementioned male stem version that breaks off you pretty much have to drain the can into something else to use it... For me its usually an old sun cooked can of ether so it gets thrown in the burn barrel for a big boom.

I don't concern myself with extracting 25 cents worth of remnant fluid from spray cans because I'm not poor.
