What makes mRNA vaccines different is that they don't even send in a drugged up shit version of the virus, instead they just basically inject information about the cheesy combo the version of the virus prefers. So you don't even need to send in the virus at all. You can still feel bad when receiving it, because your white blood cells are savages when it comes to fighting foreign invaders and will gladly do environment damage and pop their ultimates on cooldown, even for just some shitty messenger RNA.
The issue with viruses like Covid is that they mutate so quick, like evolution on steroids, that they switch up the cheesy combo a bit at a time. Knowing 50% of the cheesy combo is still good, but after a while of this switching up, the info is no longer relevant. It's like the ship of Theseus.
