Funny you say that, it's on my mind as a potential career change and I have the prereq for the compTIA class at a local vocational school.

I don't exactly like what I do for a living but the one area where I have sorta made it is the material side. I mean I'm barely middle class but I'm 34, I work in a field that pays relatively well but I'm at a crossroads as to where it's going, whether I should try and do something else, shit like that. I own a small house, and it's stressful to stay afloat on my own where I live, but it's doable for now.

The other stuff is kinda ehh. I only got seriously back into fitness a couple years ago, but I'm trying to get as fit as I can possibly get without roiding or going full-on autismo. I'm not married, no girlfriend, and I don't have crazy standards I just want to meet a woman who isn't obese and doesn't already have kids.

Agreed. This is a population statistic. The average of the population shifts/lowers by 1% every year. This is caused generally by chronic conditions catching up with you (e.g., being obese your whole life), not being active, etc. Most of the damage of being obese and inactive tends to show itself in your 30s and beyond.
Active individuals without disease don't really see test drop until they stop being fit and/or hit like 70.
