Every time I've taken a week off the gym I've gotten weaker.

Is there only solace in torment?

Uh, no shit? Why would you expect NOT training to make you stronger?

Because I listened to this monkey despite not having the space ape physiology to support his theory. Now we're all going to die to Cell.

If you were actually putting in work at the gym then you should only be coming back stronger.

Sometimes it's mental. If you go back to the gym expecting to be weaker then you will be. You have to believe in yourself

Eat more; the body will have more nutrients to repair itself. Strength is absolute, strength IS justice, so it is very important to rest nonetheless.

I usually have 4 days off of lifting every 1 or 2 months when im feeling burnt off. I usually become a bit bigger and i can lift harder when i do it again. If i go past a week or a week in a half, yes, my strenght and endurance goes to shit. Also, ive realised that lifting based on how energetic i feel gives better results than autistically grinding, i usually do 4 sets of each but if i feel 2 or 3 are enough i leave it there.

This is the truth. Unless you fuel yourself correctly you will be weaker

Fuel myself how? Cronometer is showing me I don't have any serious deficiency in anything.

So you are getting your four major macros?
>Protein
>Fat
>Carbs
>Pussy
If so then you should be all good to go. I don't see how you wouldn't be getting stronger.

For me, even 3-4 days off means I will get weak af when I come back and it usually takes me a week of training to get back on the previous numbers. I don't get it when someone suggests to take a month off to get stronger lmao, it doesn't make any sense. Week or two off means like a month worth of training to return to my original strength levels. I experience this every year when I leave for vacation.

Rest is very important.
A bit of lost gains are nothing compared to the sustainability you get.
