this is a thread to the glory of the apple. its the ultimate leanmode fuel. when i have a hunger pang in the evening i eat a based apple and its gone. no other fruit does this.

just like this i just had silly hunger. but then the applebro rescued me and its gone like with no other fruit. this is magic.

My favorite fruit of all time is honeycrisp apples. They are easily the juiciest apples I've had and the big gmo ones are both refreshing and filling and god damn do I love them

Same Anon, I like Granny Smith for that. There are some other, more local varieties like "Boiken" that I also like but sadly, recently I couldn't find either of them.

They're sweet but kinda musky tasting, orange ones taste better then green ones imo. If you've ever had squash or pumpkin it's kinda like that but sweet and the flesh has a very nice texture that I like a lot, it's firm but silky.

Yeah I have that too although not as much anymore, when I was a kid I actually chewed on the side of my bed, probably cause my canines were too long and they would stab my mouth when I closed it fully so I sort of instinctively filed them down like a hamster would.

Might be anecdote but the leanest, healthiest, most longevive person I know is an almost 90 years old doctor who still works on and off mostly as an occupation.
He is very lean and tall and stringy, looks like Zeus lean form from record of ragnarok, but the man eats apples all day long in between his normal meals, and drinks wine diluted with elder syrup and mineral water every night. I've always seen him munch on apples, when he doesn't have any on hand he literally stops what he's doing and goes to get or buy some apples somewhere.

Apples are great. I eat them every day. Currently my favorite cultivars are Cosmic Crisp, Fuji, Crimson Snow, Granny Smith and Pink Lady. Just heading to the store to get some apples, can't wait to eat one too. Yummy.

I find green grapes also crush hunger, and they are even more convenient than apples. But between the two, there’s really no other fruit that can match in all-around greatness. I like apples more than grapes but grapes are just soooo easy.

I love apples and have been eating them all my life but they make me fart like hell, just like pears. I have an office job now so I only eat them on the weekends. why do some fruit do that to me? I never fart after bananas and kiwis. What's the difference? A different sugar?
