I'm 45, married and 4 kids and I occasionally hang out with an old high school friend still single just like you. He goes to a local Irish pub, drinks ridiculously overpriced shitty IPA beers, yells really loud about sportsball events, bitches about women but only hangs out in places that selects for the WORST kind of women (shitty Northeast Irish pubs etc.) Says he's going to marry an younger woman when he's "ready". I smile and nod, and slowly disengage over the years.

Nothing can come between my wife and me now. Been through all the shit together, and the bond is forged stronger now than ever.
The ultimate flex is being in your 40's, hanging out with other succesful married couples in your back yard, watching all your well behaved children play together. Subtlely hoping they get married some day (the desire to arrange marriage for your children is ancestral, strong and noble).
