I got to eat a shitload for a full year and then I only had to lose 20 pounds to get back down to similar leanness which was pretty easy after losing 90 pounds the first time. Now Im doing another 5 just for fun. It was nice getting to eat everything I wanted for so long, but I did get a bit sloppy towards the end. Took like 2.5 months to reign it back in. Very worth it and lifting felt great.

As a heads up. Weights for SLRD do not translate into 0.5 x RDL. There is a lot of stability muscles that get activated. My 1RM for RDL is 260 lbs, SLRD is 109. It took a lot to get them that close.

>>76363332I literally just eat lean protein source (usually chicken breast, but sometimes thighs or 93%/7% Beef, thighs tend to be cheaper and taste better but are less lean than breasts) + a cruciferous vegetable (usually broccoli, but sometimes kale, Brussels sprouts, or cauliflower). For snacks I do oikos pro yogurt with berries (strawberry, blueberry) mixed in. That's like my whole diet, I refuse to eat bread and pasta. The individual cost of higher priced food is offset by the fact that I'm eating far less food in general so my expenses have stayed the same. I buy this shit in bulk and freeze it too. My chicken breasts come in 6 packs, which I individually bag and throw in my freezer. Vegetables I keep in the refrigerator, frozen ones suck and I've never found a way to make frozen vegetables taste as good as fresh so those drive my shopping trips most of the time, I shop like once a week to refresh my vegetable stocks. Blueberries I find taste better frozen, I'll often pop a few frozen blueberries in my mouth before a run as a treat. For whatever reason they taste sweeter when frozen to me. Stawberries I keep fresh.
My weekly food bill is like $150. I spend less on food now than I did when I was megafat that's for sure.
