I am in the ending stage of cut. Right now at 80.5 kg, 182 cm. This years cut was rough, i had a AC joint resection surgery in the beginning of the may, causing me to completely skip training for 6 weeks or so. Lets just say that eating at high deficit and not lifting will eat through your muscles. Anyway, my ac joint is getting better, and i am going to hunt 5 plate bench when i completely recover. Cheers!

Iโve been in shape pretty much for about 18 years, but definitely not consistent in the gym for 18 years, many set backs and injuries. Broken femur, 3 years of surgeries, had 3 kids (ruins your sleep and your ability to find time to train), tore a psoas once which took years to fully heal, lost interest in training for a few years here and there. I would say I had two peaks physicallyโฆ one around my mid 20โs and another second wind around age 35, definitely feeing the decline now!
I basically donโt train real heavy anymore, just spin the wheels and try to stay below 15% Body fat

I only started lifting ~3 months ago, and I when I started, I was unable to do a single pushup, so I was probably very far behind the average starting point. I've put on 6 or 7 pounds since I started, which I'm quite happy with.
Obviously I am still skinny and all, but I've already seen some changes that are quite motivating.
Also, instead of replying to everyone else who posted, it's nice motivation to see where people can get to. Hopefully I can be proud of what I achieve in a year or two.

For pushups, I obviously wasn't able to do them, so I started with incline pushups on the stairs. I found these very awkward, so I swapped to knee pushups. I did those for a week or two, and then I switched to doing negative pushups and going really slow. After a week, I would start each set of negatives with as many pushups as I could do, which at first was just 1 on set 1, and 1 on set 2. Slowly, with negatives and bench press I was able to add more and more pushups. Once I got to 2x5, 1x3 pushups on my sets, I switched entirely to just pushups and no negatives.
Also, my exercise selection is kinda weird because we have some home equipment. I will switch to more barbell stuff once I start in a commercial gym.
