are there any practical reasons to do weighted ring dips?
I'm still in the noob gains doing ring dips and pullups with bodyweight phase but isn't the additional stability requireement for rings is not an optimal way if you do them weighted?
I did calisthenics for many years and just recently switched to gym
my starting point was pretty decent but I've been making noob gains so I'm already at 1pl8 ohp and 2pl8 bench and making steady progress every week while remaining very lean and gaining weight
before that, I was stalling at calisthenics for years. no other life style changes were made
>>76413224 (OP)Gymnastics destroys you. Casuals have no clue. The 10 year old that arent shit are putting in 3hrs a day everyday and more through college. By 30 you're wrecked.
I use freeweights, machines, bodyweight and cardio. Why would I limit myself to one workout type?
