Life sucks right now but at least I look forward to going to the gym everyday. Gained some weight this year but I’ll get back to 220lbs (im 6-2). I’m at 260rn

Why is everything so fucking gay now? My gf is my biggest stress and I don’t think there is anything wrong with me saying I can’t afford the life she wants and that we should breakup. I have my family back home (I live in another state) I have to worry about but she tells me it’s not my problem to worry about them and that my mother is an adult and needs to figure it out.

Your GF sounds really shitty and toxic. I'd break up with her. Find one that wants to live a life you can afford that lets you have time to enjoy it and put family first

Yeah OP, im not saying break up with her but if your expectations of a life together dont match up with your own (matching up with reality either) it might be worth ending the relationship. Ive been through thick and thin with my wife and she'd be with me whether I worked at McDonald's or if I was still at my current job making good money. I think you probably have enough stress without the long term stress of someone who clearly doesn't have a similar worldview as you, despite the likely fact that you love her, she probably has lots of qualities you want, etc. An issue like what your describing is foundational however and I dont think I need to tell you what happens to a house with a shaky foundation.

Your GF is a rotten whore, find someone kind who doesn't ask you to abandon your family. Unrealistic expectations in regards to living standards is a constant when it comes to ladies from my experience, very few among them are smart with money.
