That's what i'm experiencing right now. In my third years and i just maintaning what muscle i have. It's enough for me and people can tell i'm muscular. What's hard is sliming down because i don't have strong incentive to be jacked and i'm old

When I turned 30 I was like

3 years later at 33 I’m still saying the same thing and literally lifting like it’s my last day everytime im in the gym.

>can only do 4 days of heavy lifting
>stronger than I was in my 20s but get DOMS every session

I was ignorant and didn't comprehend that getting old thing until recently. I don't know how much of that really is getting older or because I'm lifting a shit ton more.

You're lifting more, stronger and also weigh more. Heavier guys need less volume / loading to achieve similar results.

I'm turning 30 later this year and honestly I'm not seeing much difference now compared to early 20s. Biggest difference is that I take warmups more seriously and get deep tissue massages done (works wonders for recovery).

Screw strength. I am supposed to fight like a medieval warrior? I lift to keep myself lean, active and toned at 47yo.
PPL + cardio. Progressive loading when I feel like giving it a chance, otherwise maintaining.
Form is EVERYTHING at this age. Even if you pursuit getting big and strong you need to keep an eye like never before in your life. Snap City is close on every movement.
