Whereas in the stage of emerging adulthood is when you shed free of previous bonds from childhood/teens and get presented with more opportunity. The foundations does not "need to be laid" in teens, because most people postpone their full adult life these days onto later years, and thus lay the foundation. Very few people interact with people that they met in their teens today, most people lay their foundation and experience the vast majority of their relationships in emerging adulthood. Saying you are doomed to a life of isolation because you were a late bloomer is plain wrong.

The same goes for college. High school is no different in this regard. Add in the parties and extra social activites outside of school that happens in college and you get even more opporutnity, than what High school provides.

Yeah I am not really referring to financial security as much as I am referring to material independence and freedom here. Like staying at your own place, which makes dating a lot easier logistically. There is a lot of men that do this. They do every trick in the book to try to hide their insecurities and it makes it even more obvious how much they are overcompensating.

Lift weights. Take care of your body. Find peace with who you are. Be yourself, stop worrying what other think. This is true confidence, that others can perceive. This is what makes you attractive to others.
