Anyone else pretty fit but hopelessly addicted to junk food? I maintain low bf and decent muscle mass year round just fine but basically have to do it by alternate day fasting so I can indulge in junk 3-4 times a week. I keep my protein high on eating days but otherwise crush burgers, pizza, fried chicken, ice cream, chocolate, you name it. I've tried to "eat clean" and I know how to cook good meals, I was a cook for years at restaurants, but I still love my junk food, particularly childish shit like doritos or candy

If I had to guess, at least 50% of my calories are from shit like fast food and take out. I stay fit, I do cardio, I keep protein high, but is the junk food gonna give me cancer here soon? Or is 50% just fine as long as I stay fit?

Just don't buy it, simple as. If I buy it and try to eat it in moderation I can't, so I just don't buy any of it anymore

I do almost the same shit, I fast to quite lean and then spend around a year gaining fat and then do multi-day fasts to lean down. I don't really care how healthy it really is, I'm so much healthier at 90-100kg compared to 150kg. In practice it means I fast down to like 85-90kg and then keep feasting and lifting until I'm like ~100-110kg and it all repeats. Lifts keep going up and I feel awesome when I'm lean. Life without indulging in tasty "unhealthy" food is not worth it to me, I'd rather indulge and fast the fat away than not enjoy myself.

Same here bro, do you have an pizza steel? It really leveled up my pizza game, a stone is nothing compared to a steel plate, I make couple of pizzas every weekend with it, it's awesome.

Oh wow id love to taste that.

There is a buffet near me i go alone and just eat for hours, then i go home and cry lol funny.

They usually make fresh pizza for me since i eat a lot. I mean a lot. They also have tacos, and other stuff. I havent been for a while because i went one time and it was full in the day time, and its never full i felt so awkward by myself. I hate people. Also the seats face the windows and the sun burns my skin

i have the opposite problem
id like a burger or a pizza but none of them taste as good as they did ten years ago
maybe its just my area
or maybe its me being old and judging food not so much by how it tastes but by how i feel afterwards

Yep. I pretty much lift and cut to be able to eat pizza and drink whisky on weekends. I don't want to be a fat shit and I enjoy looking good, but pizza, booze and peanuts are my kryptonite. Without them I'd stay at 12-15%bf all year long. Its why I was wondering if I should try one of the GLP1s to cure that craving.
