You only need to be a vaguely competent striker and grappler in order for the strength gap to become a huge problem for them. I was (with much effort) choking out female purple belts when I was a 4 stripe white belt, and I can hold my own for a while and be a problem against guys who strike at a competitive level.

She'd have to either show me some absolutely elite rangy striking or show me some Judo hit-me-with-a-planet shit that finishes me on impact, because even in the worst case scenarios on the ground I can get her off of me with pure strength and weak technique, and I'd obliterate them striking on the inside.

1. Stop being a woman and caring what people think.
2. Stop trying to "win" training. You learn more and recover better when it's fun, and you get more consistent work in when you can modulate intensity that way.
3. Nobody thinks you're "try hard" for beating a woman. Anyone with any significant experience can tell how hard you're trying and if you have to try hard then either she is good enough that everyone knows it, or you suck bad enough that everyone already knew it.

Combat sports ate one of the last remaining meritocracies. Stop ruining it with image-conscious faggotry and earn the respect you want so badly.

I was 4-3 in my Muay Thai fights fighting at middle weight. Retired for obvious reasons.
There is not a single woman in the world who can beat me in an MMA fight. I would bet my life on it.
Most men over middleweight 180lbs, could train for 365 days and say the same. Women martial arts is ass, most UFC women don't even train MMA frequently.

I fight at 155 but I never grappled so Nunes or Holmes could probably beat me if they made it grappling heavy. I'd say at the same weight class a male fighter starches a female fighter with equal skill. A male elite amatuer @10-25 fights would beat most of the top 10 females in any of the big promotions.

I got to spar a chick who was ranked 4 in the WBC boxing rankings when I only had one fight and it was a lot easier than any of the experienced male amateurs.

Middleweight isn't 180lbs in Thailand or the US, and I don't think if you are 6'5 you'd be cutting to 160lb at amatuer or low level professional. Aside from that, I agree that female martial arts is pretty sloppy, but the UFC definitely have some of the worst "elite" fighters. Female boxers, kick boxers and nak muay don't look as bad, maybe because they can focus on one skill set better.
