PCOS
What treatments are best for PCOS besides birth control? Birth control doesn't fix the problem, it just hides the symptoms.

>wanna develop a colony somewhere inhospitable. Space or w/e
>far away, difficult or impossible to resupply often
>Send a hand-picked squadron of Heckin Valid PCOS Survivors to pave the way
>the mission goes awry
>rations run out
>PCOS blocks the brave settlers from burning fat, allowing conflicts to be resolved, resupply to be received, and eventual world peace under the Matriarchy to be achieved
Say thankyou

It's an overall inflammatory problem. That's why it's so common in fat girls. You fix it by having a better lifestyle, even if it already seems good enough. Maybe it needs to be immaculate to keep things under control

I wonder if estrogen would also help, since it's caused by a hormonal balance

Metformin and NAC are both pretty S-tier from what several female friends of mine have said. I've taken both of them but I'm a dude, lel.
>protip: NAC chelates minerals so u need extra, metformin usually just causes a bit of GI upset if the doses get too high but that frequently goes away after a few weeks.

if you want endometriosis, ovarian cancer and permanent infertility go ham on estrogen.

This is good but progesterone supplementation should be the last resort or if you want to treat it ASAP. If you manage to fix your thyroid issues(responsible for 99% of any inflammation ever), your estrogen levels should normalize which would 100% fix PCOS and prevent women specific cancers. Slow and steady you fix the diet to treat the thyroid, or quick and reckless you take progesterone to balance your hormones as fast as possible.

is this why women are the number 1 shills for keto? they talk about it like it's some miracle cure to all

Pretty much. They hear low carb and go extreme. Most women are very blsvk and white thinkers

For pcos I do think keto is actually recommended as a long term strategy, but for the rest of them like >>76726865 said, women lack a lot of the forward thinking most men have. They find a thing, see a little results, then devote their entire being to it without any critical thinking as to why it's working. Keto is a phenomenal tool but most people that claim to be keto either can't tell you how or what it's doing, aren't doing it properly, or both

The body not burning fat doesn't mean people can't die of starvation, ifbthey actually have a condition that stops the body from burning fat
Anonymous No.76726916 [Report]

Then they burn out and return to shitty habits. Or "go keto" and not actually count carbs and just have mudslide high fat shits.
>>76726895
What condition actually prevents fat burning?

why they always have to do something irrelevant when talking
can't they just face the camera and say what they want to say?
they always dance or eat, this one even started the video bent down tha't so funny

The only condition that "stops" (it slows, not prevents) fat burning is insulin resistance which, funnily enough, is what causes almost every case of pcos. You will get skinny before you die of starvation, regardless. And the fasting/low carb diet will fix both problems

Does it REALLY actually slow fat burn?

Probably to catch and keep attention. Young people's brains are fucked

Yes, insulin is the fat storage hormone. When you become insulin resistant, your body produces more and more to try and combat glucose spikes, eventually getting so out of whack your pancreas starts shutting down and you become diabetic. If your insulin levels are chronically high, it will absolutely slow metabolism and fat burning. This is why people with type 1 diabetes form fat deposits at injection sites, it literally signals your body to store fat where it is.

She identifies the issue which is insulin sensitivity ie metabolic syndrome ie fat bitches and her conclusion is just don't do anything about it, just schizo think about the moment someone tries to help you and act the most autistic way possible.

Inositol.
Myo- and D-chiro inositol in a certain ratio.

I've been researching the stuff for my fitness needs as a guy and came across dozens of posts from women who swear by it for this PCOS thing.
